Recently renovated, Hemingway’s pub restaurant is located beside the famous Banzaan fresh market, just behind Jungceylon and Bangla Boxing Stadium. The venue offers a great seafood concept that makes eating amazing seafood affordable to all. Hemingway’s invite customers to shop for their seafood in Banzaan market, probably the cleanest fresh market in Asia, and bring it to our chefs to cook your purchase in a style of your choice. If you are unfamiliar with shopping for seafood, the Hemingway’s staff will be only too happy to assist you. The restaurant also offers an extensive Thai and international menu for those who prefer it. Please note that the daily catch of fish arrives around 1130am. The market closes at 6pm. If you prefer to shop for the seafood during the daytime but would like to return in the evening for dinner, this can be easily arranged, we will keep your seafood on ice and cook it for you later.

Sports channels play constantly on three large screen TV’s both at the inside bar and the outside bar. Hemingway's are the current Patong darts league champions, and have been since 2009. We invite holiday makers and residents alike to join the team to either play or support on Tuesday evenings.

The outside bar overlooks a traditional Thai food market. Tourists and locals sample traditional Thai dishes from street hawkers. Why not sample some snacks from the market while enjoying a cold draught beer, cocktail or glass of wine?

If you have a birthday or even a large group of friends for dinner, we can make it an evening to remember for you. Live music, birthday cakes, flowers and Thai or seafood banquets or buffets can be arranged at short notice.
